Sin is disobeying God even if you have not accepted Him; standing against the Righteousness of God and God’s Word. We know that our actions are wrong doings as well as we know our own names. It is no surprise to you that you are disobedient even at the after effect of our actions; we still continue to follow our sinful nature. Sin has a trait that becomes addictive to enjoying its pleasure.. Hebrews 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

Trait – a determined characteristic

Sin breaks down the mind, the soul and the spirit, and when the mind is disruptive it creates a lifestyle that’s destined to envision sin as righteousness; a Reprobate Mind. Romans 1:28-29 – 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Reprobate – wicked, condemned, good for nothing, immoral

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Anything we give ourselves to we are serving it and giving it time and energy and if it’s not good we have wasted valuable lifetime to it; and if it’s good we reap a benefit reward from it…..either way there’s a return:

The First Sin – Isaiah 14:13-14   13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: Satan speaking

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Revelations 12:7-8 a war broke out in Heaven

Revelations 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelations 12:7-12)

The Second Sin  – Genesis 2:17  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Third Sin – caused by the second sin – Romans 5: 12 – Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:   Read Genesis Chapter 3

Separation – Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear

It is a separation from God.- it is a torment that robs you of your future and causes you to transfer bad behavior into your family and set unpleasant examples for them to follow. Sin when not confessed causes an illness that could last a lifetime. Unconfessed sin also carries assigned dysfunctions (that will destroy) one thing will always lead to another wrong thing. It is never going to turn into a right thing until it is identified and confessed to Jesus Christ. Sin actions are pleasurable for a season (Hebrews 11:25) – it’s either time to die or to be spiraled out of control. Sin causes you to miss so much out of life…moments of peace, love and joy that permeates in situations, circumstances, and during your ups and downs…you miss those God moments that will carry you – through…

Sin block victories that have been assigned to you…sin will follow and lead you into dimensions unsuited for you. It causes the mind of your heart to believe a lie – it makes an untruth for itself to continue to control all the unconfessed sin (You are held captive) in your soul. Sin also causes you to miss the presences of the Lord and to know the joy of an answered prayer; which you’ve prayed! And as sweet as Worshiping God you miss an experience that you would want to share with everyone.
