The Great Supper

The Great Supper, is an invitation to life everlasting – yes, it is mind-boggling but it’s the truth you can have life everlasting in Christ; there is life now and life after your time here on earth. It seems odd to say, it sounds like the title of a book; “your time here on earth’…Because yes, this is earth and there is a Heaven and a Hell. Sadly, no one has returned (yet) that I know of to say that there is either….but, one thing is for sure we are born and we do die. 

This invitation defuses the cloud of the carnal-mind to a Believing Heart. 

• What removes the carnal mind is Salvation only… 
• Carnal-Mind Romans 8:6 – for to be carnally-minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
• NIV Romans 8:6 – The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

A mind governed by the flesh  – is enmity against itself

There’s much to say about Salvation life everlasting, forgiveness of sin, Christ dying and offering us eternal life with Him in the Heavens. But to receive this understanding; or you may have questions, but, the questions and the answers will not make sense to you in your asking or in the understanding of the answer. You must come to the Great Supper to receive the knowledge prepared for you about your Salvation.  Because of this carnal mind  – 1Corinthians 2:14

1 Corinthians 2:10, KJV: “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:10, NASB: “For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.”

Christ is brilliant, Christ is the smartest Being ever born, He lacks absolutely nothing. And, the supernatural knowledge He has set aside to impart to you is the wisdom to grow you in Him. He’s the only One who can impart just what you need to know him; He knows what it takes for you to understand. But, you must come to the Great Supper already prepared for you.

• You must allow the Word of God to prove itself to you… 

Your Invitation  

Luke 14:16 – 31

Luke 14:16 Then said He unto him, a certain man made a Great Supper and bade (invited) many.   Many – innumerable unattainable to know

Christ has prepared for you and your life the Greatest Supper; the invitation went out at His death on the Cross. The invitation (is) engraved with His blood that offers you a place at the table in the Kingdom of Life Everlasting. As magnificent as this Great Supper that holds the nutrients of life as well as the breath you breathe; you must respond to the invitation; how you respond is up to you..     

Although the invitation is engraved with his blood you (can) still come as you are. You don’t have to bring anything with you and you don’t have to wear your best apparel or look a certain way or belong to a certain culture. The only thing that the invitation requires from you is a response to the invitation. An invitation with the words engraved in His blood, Matthew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labor and heavy laden and I will give you rest.” This is Your invitation to the Great Supper.   

Luke 14:17 and He sent His Servant at supper time to say to them that were baddin-invited, Come, all things are Now ready…

• Now means – at this present time or moment.

Christ has prepared everyone born a time to be spoken to, too hear the Gospel (Matthew 24:14) and to respond. He states to go to those that were invited and tell them that all things are Now ready; it’s your time to come to Supper; to give your life to Jesus Christ.  

Kjv Psalm 95:7 For He is our God, and we are the people of His Pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Today if you will hear his voice.

All things are Now ready – Now to develop a personal relationship with (Jesus Christ today); “this is the moment I will seal you until the day of redemption…” say Jesus Christ. 

Hebrews 3:7, Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, today if you hear his voice…harden not your heart…. Don’t reject me.

• Hearing His voice is this message to you…

The Excuse

Luke 14:18 and they all with one consent began to make excuses, the first said unto him, I bought a piece of ground and I must go and need to see it, I pray thee have me excused. 

The response is with consideration of knowing what has been offered in the invitation. An invitation engraved in the Blood of the Lamb offering you personally the keys to the Kingdom and eternal life.  If not all knowledge but some of what you are rejecting, you know is the truth. 

Luke 14:19 and another said I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them. I pray thee have me excused. 

Luke 14:20 and another said, I have married a wife and therefore I cannot come. 

Excuses are just a nice form of rejection. Excuses speak to not wanting the responsibility of what you know the requirements are or the fear of the unknown. Or, it could be that you are not ready, but if the pull to Christ has come to you; Christ is saying, He’s ready for you. 

Luke 14:21 So, the Servant came back and shewed his Lord these things, then the Master of the house being angry said to his Servant, go (quickly) into the street and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind…

The urgency speaks to God’s timing as God’s timing… Eccl. 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 

God’s timing is your timing…; we will never understand God’s urgency and His timing for His purpose. Our job is to act and move…and trust that He knows what is best.

Notwithstanding, we must not overlook that the Master was angry… the pain of rejection hurts in our most vulnerable place of love. As powerful as love is and it is mighty powerful; when it is rejected it has a powerful effect that causes us to react. 

• Rejection –   dismissing, shutting out, avoidance, exclusion, 

Luke 14: 22 

And the Servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.    An invitation is personally addressed to you with your name on it. It has come to the address where you are presently in your life. No matter your situation or circumstances or what you have done or what you are doing now – It does not matter!  The invitation always comes on time; ready or not.

Luke 14:23

And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 

That my House may be Filled…

Acts 28:28 – Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

Romans 11:11  I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

Romans 11:11 NLT – Did God’s people stumble and fall beyond recovery? Of course not! They were disobedient, so God made salvation available to the Gentiles. But he wanted his own people to become jealous and claim it for themselves.

Luke 14:24

For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden (invited) shall taste of my supper. Those that gave excuses…

Acts 28:27 

Be careful to reject or neglect the call to Salvation your appointed time; for if the invite has come to you, it’s because God wants you Now. 

The Results – (Not Coming)

Luke 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.  

Please send word to my family to give testimony to them so they will not come to this place of torment – hell.

Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Luke 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

That’s not going to work – but, if someone returned from the dead would go to them they will repent…

Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

though one rose from the dead – 

The preachers, ministers evangelist, teachers, etc. they are preaching the Words of Jesus Christ who rose from the dead;

If they don’t hear the word of God from them they will never hear someone who rose from the dead….the Word preached is from someone who rose from the dead!

Summary of the Invitation to The Great Supper:

When your heart begins to agree with these words and your mind begins to process it’s truths, this is hearing the Word. This is the power of the Father drawing you to His Son Jesus Christ. It’s you hearing the call speak to you in your heart-spirit that only you can hear and know for sure that there is a stirring going on within you. That’s your invitation to Salvation, The Great Supper. You may respond at your one free will but do know this, the anointing/sealing until the day of redemption door will not be open long; less not Christ be angry with you and place someone else in your stead….as scripture has stated Luke 14: 21.

Don’t get it twisted about God…yes He sent his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins and yes He is known to be long suffering towards us, and yes he has an everlasting love for us; and he will continue too no matter what and still allow you to go to hell due to your rejecting your invitation to The Great Supper…. 

The plates on the table are empty because they are waiting to be filled with the desires of your heart…
